This guide will provide information about misinformation, disinformation, fake news and how content can be manipulated when published in electronic format. Provides strategies to determine the validity of websites, social media posts, photographs, etc.

Types of Sources to Evaluate

When searching for sources, be sure to critically evaluate any digital sources as they can be easily taken out of context or manipulated.  Always evaluate websites, videos, photos or social media posts before using or sharing them, especially if they relate to controversial topics.
