This guide provides answers to frequently asked questions about the Mitchell Community College Libraries.

FAQ: General Questions

Where are the library locations?
Huskins Library is located on the Statesville campus near the Montgomery Student Union. The Mooresville Campus Library is located in the Brawley Building, Room 222, near the elevator and restrooms.

What hours is the library open?
The current operating hours for each location are listed under the Staff & Hours link on the library's homepage.

Can I print or make copies?
Yes. The cost for B&W or color printing and copying is $.10/page, cash only. Library staff can scan documents for patrons at no cost.

Can I eat in the library?
Yes. Please keep all food and drinks (except water bottles with lids) away from the computers.

Are there areas for group work and quiet study?
Yes. Both library locations have study rooms available by reservation.  Also, Huskins Library has a designated quiet area on the top floor of the library.

How do I reserve a room in the library?
Reservation forms are available under the Events & Reservations link on the library's homepage.

Can I take a test at the library?
Yes. We have computers with the Respondus software available, as well as webcams and microphones. We also offer proctoring, contact a Mitchell librarian to schedule. 

How do I connect to Wi-Fi?
Students, faculty and staff may connect to the MCC Wi-Fi with their Mitchell credentials. The MCC Guest network is open to everyone and no credentials are needed to connect.
