ELEGOO combines open-source electronics and structures that create everything. The makerspace houses two (2) ELEGOO MEGA 2560 the Most Complete Starter Kits and an ELEGOO UNO R3 Super Starter Kit.
The "ELEGOO MEGA 2560 the Most Complete Starter Kit provides an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software, which evolves the user from beginner to professional level" (ELEGOO, n.d.). There are two (2) of these kits available in Mitchell Community College Library's makerspace.

The UNO R3 Super Starter Kit is 100% compatible with the ELEGOO Mega 2560 and acts as "the brains behind almost any electronics project" (ELEGOO, n.d.), allowing users to create digital devices and interactive objects for their robots and machines.
Snap Circuits® is a line of electronic kits manufactured by Elenco Electronics. These kits allow users to build electronic circuits by snapping together components on a grid, eliminating the need for soldering. The makerspace houses various kits for all levels.
Snap Circuits® Arcade utilizes a rows-and-columns grid, functioning as a circuit board, onto which builders snap pieces. The kit includes over 200 projects utilizing only 30 components. A colorful pictorial manual will walk you through the building process.
Snap Circuits® Beginner introduces users to problem solving, following directions, and completing a job well done through the creation of over 20 projects using 14 parts. A colorful pictorial manual will walk you through the building process.
Snap Circuits® Green Energy won Toy of the Year Awards' (TOTY) 2022 Specialty Toy of the Year. This kit encourages users to explore alternative power, energy conservation, and electricity to help the environment.

Snap Circuits® LIGHT allows users to create visual effects to the beat of music all by connecting their iPhone or other device. There are over 175 projects to build. A colorful pictorial manual will walk you through the building process.
Snap Circuits® Pro goes beyond the Beginner kit, providing builders with over 500 projects, including 73 computer interfaced experiments and over 75 parts, including a voice recording IC, analog meter, transformer, and 7-segment LED display. A colorful pictorial manual will walk you through the building process.
Snap Circuits® Snaptricity "uses building blocks with snaps to build different electrical and electronic circuits" (Snaptricity Instruction Manual, n.d.). There are over 75 projects to create. A colorful pictorial manual will walk you through the building process.
Engino® STEM sets assist users in developing critical skills, creative problem solving, and real-world engineering. The makerspace house three (3) mechanics kits from Engino®.
Engino® Discovering STEM Mechanics: Levers & Linkages kit teaches builders about how levers work and linkages can be applied to machines through the creation of models with complex motion.
Engino® Discovering STEM Mechanics: Pulley Drives kit will educate users on how pulley drives work, highlighting transfer force, reduced friction, and increased force/speed.

Engino® Discovering STEM Mechanics: Wheels, Axles & Inclined Planes kit includes instructions for 14 models that exhibit how wheels and axles use friction to move objects and how inclined planes and wedges help lift heavy objects.

Easy-to-follow instructions in the included booklets or online will walk you through the building process and relevant scientific principles for each kit.
The makerspace has a LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 robotics kit that combines the LEGO® building system with advanced technology to create walking, talking, and thinking robots. Companion EV3 applications are available for tablet devices and advanced software is available for PC and Mac.
A MINDSTORMS® EV3 Expansion Set is also available. The set contains supplementary elements to take your robot to the next level.

The Makey Makey STEM pack allows "users to transform everyday objects into interactive touchpads by connecting them to a computer" (Gemini, 2025). Makey Makey is compatible with Chomebooks, Windows, MacOS, and many Linux systems.

Sphero provides tech tools to engage learners in programming and STEAM. At the makerspace, patrons can program robots to display characters, vector graphics, and sensor data or to play games.
"BOLT is Sphero's most advanced coding robotic ball to date" (Amazon, n.d.). By connecting to the Sphero EDU app, users can program their robot to change colors, spin, talk, and play games.

Utilize the Space/Soccer code mat to take your robot into orbit and explore the solar system or dribble down the soccer pitch.
Sphero's littleBits Invention Kit is filled with building blocks called Bits that are color coded tools for circuit building. There are five (5) sets available at the makerspace.
