What is a Makerspace?

A makerspace is a collaborative area in which users have access to tools, technologies, and materials for creative and hands-on activities. Our space encourages learning, exploration, and sharing through various activities like crafting, gaming, coding, and digital media creation.

Where is the Makerspace Located?

Mitchell Community College Library's makerspace is located on the main floor of Huskins Library. However, a virtual reality (VR) headset and a gaming laptop are also available at Mooresville Campus Library.

What does the Makerspace Offer?

Our makerspace is equipped with art supplies, 3D printing, gaming computers, virtual reality (VR) headsets, Lego kits, and more! Stop by today to check out all that is available.
