Mitchell Community College Library hosts an array of programs to engage and educate the community. Often times, they have a specific purpose to introduce new library resources or address a community need, while other programs are to foster community connections or simply provide a creative outlet or moment of relaxation for library users.
There are several recurring programs at both library locations. Our most notable programs are Book Clubs at Mitchell and Tech Tuesdays.
Book Clubs at Mitchell are independent books clubs at each library location that welcome students, faculty, staff, and community members. Each club explores a diverse range of titles, authors, and genres, providing participants with engaging discussion and fresh perspectives.
During Tech Tuesdays, patrons can visit Mitchell Community College Library to learn basic computer skills, how to use Microsoft Office products, and more via online tutorials, or bring their own questions and get one-on-one assistance from a library staff member.
