Questions regarding the suitability of materials in the collection should be directed to the Director of Library Services. Challenged materials will remain in circulation during the reconsideration process.
Any person or group who wishes for materials to be reconsidered will be asked to read the library's collection development plan and complete the Request for Reconsideration of Library Materials form. The form can be requested from the Director of Library Services. Upon submission of the form, a Library Advisory Committee will meet to examine the resource within five (5) working days to discuss the material and assign reading/viewing sections. The committee will follow the procedures outlined below and render a decision within 30 working days.
